Flights and Travel
Travel Saving Tips
- Book flights at times of the year when people book fewer flights.
- Buy refundable tickets on new flight routes. When the new route is cancelled because no one knows about it, they will give you a free flight fare. If not, you can just refund.
- When you would normally have a layover, buy your flights separately. This can save you a large amount of money.
-
Wait until closer to the deadline to cancel your flight (the cancellation fee usually doesn't increase till like 24 hours before). This way if the flight has a delay or change (it doesn't have to be cancelled) you'll have the opportunity to cancel for much cheaper.

Websites to Find Cheap Flights
These websites are reliable sources that can help you find cheap flights. However, the best way to actually book those flights is through direct airlines. My recommendation would be to find cheap flights on these sites and then go to the direct airlines and do your actual booking there. Some of the sites also provide cheap hotels, car rentals, and attractions.
